Scaling Downs can help you declutter and organize all areas of the home and small office. For example: kitchen and pantry, bedrooms, closets, garage, mudroom, craft/playroom, office/den, attic, basement, senior living space, college dormitory, etc. No project is too big or too small. We will work together to design a system that works for you. Our shared goal is to make you feel more comfortable and in control in your environment. Know that I adhere to the ASPO Code of Ethics (https://www.amspo.org/code-of-ethics), and will treat you with the utmost respect and courtesy.
Virtual Organizing:

This works best for those who have the ability to organize on their own but benefit from the added support. Or for those who may be a little uneasy about having someone in their home and prefer a little more privacy. Or perhaps those that live outside of my service area. We can work together using technology such as FaceTime or Zoom while still providing support along the way. These sessions are typically shorter which are a great option for those on a budget.
Move Management:

Scaling Downs is not a moving company, but I can help with several steps along the way. Whether you are moving, renovating, or transitioning to a dormitory or senior living facility, I will help you downsize so you only take those items you value and need. I can help with lite packing and can provide staging tips if necessary. Once you are relocated, I can help with unpacking and home set-up.
Holiday Decorating:

I absolutely love the holidays and enjoy decorating for them. Growing up, my mother kept a small table top tree out year round and we had different decorations for each month of the year. I looked forward to decorating it every month in anticipation of the new season or holiday to come. To this day, I still look forward to swapping out my home decor for the different holidays and seasons. It keeps my home looking new as I never decorate it the same way twice.
I will help decorate your tree, mantel, table top, etc. with your existing decorations or I will shop for new ones at your request. After the holidays, I will take down, pack up and put away your decorations.
2nd Home:

It’s hard to maintain one house. When you have a second home, it adds even more stress and responsibility. When you want to visit your second home, there is a list of things to do and bring. I will help open the house, take a food, clothing and linen inventory, stock the fridge and pantry, stock the bar, tidy up the surface, set thermometer to desired temperature, and check on the over all status of the house so you don’t arrive to any surprises.
